  • Tax documents: PDF files you upload for analysis. These are processed temporarily and automatically deleted within one hour.
  • Chat messages: Questions you submit to our AI assistants. These are used solely to generate responses and are not stored permanently.
  • Contact form data: Name, email address, and message content when you use our contact form.
  • Cookie preferences: Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser via localStorage.
  • Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.

4. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Tax analysis and optimization: To provide AI-powered tax advice based on your uploaded documents (legal basis: consent and legitimate interest).
  • Legal assistance: To answer your legal tax questions using our RAG-powered assistant (legal basis: consent).
  • Communication: To respond to your contact form submissions (legal basis: consent).
  • Website improvement: To understand usage patterns through privacy-friendly analytics (legal basis: legitimate interest).

5. Data Processing and Third Parties

Your data is processed using EU-based infrastructure. When you use our AI features, document content may be sent to our AI provider (Mistral AI, based in France) for analysis. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

  • Uploaded PDF files are automatically deleted within one hour of processing.
  • Chat conversations are not stored on our servers after your session ends.
  • Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry.
